1. Create customer-focused and value-driven content on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

Creating a content strategy on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter is key to post content that will engage your customers. This starts with setting up great profiles across these channels to get in front of your customers and meet them where they are. Next, post consistently and get engaged with audience members that interact with your posts. Use hashtags to ensure your content gets new eyes on Instagram and Twitter. And, utilize the boost function on Facebook to put money behind engaging organic posts in order to reach new audiences. 

Most importantly, tell your story, be who you are, and be personable to connect with new audiences.

2. Leverage YouTube to create educational videos

Leveraging YouTube and creating educational videos about your business or industry is another great way to meet your customers where they are. According to Unbounce, using videos on web pages and landing pages can increase conversion rates by up to 80%. This is because videos are engaging, increase the time visitors spend on a page, and can also evoke a sense of trust in customers. Videos also get shared, extending the reach of your content. Additionally, businesses that add videos to demonstrate their products to shoppers, see a conversion rate increase of 25% as a result. 

In order to do this, you need to first set up a YouTube channel, (you can find instructions in the webinar), then create videos that will help tell the story of your business and everything you do for your customers. Here are some ideas of the kinds of videos you can create:

  • Explainer video: Show how your product or service addresses common pain points for your audience.
  • Training video: Demonstrate how customers can use your products or services to gain the most benefits from them. 
  • Webinars: Educate your audience on a specific theme or topics they want addressed.

3. Tie in email marketing with your social media posts

Email is still the highest converting marketing tool at your disposal, according to Keap. You can use your social media to drive traffic to your website or offer, and use your email marketing to get your email list to find you on social media.

Guaranteed, there are people on your email list that are not yet following you on social media. Getting them to your social media channels to follow and engage with your business is one more way for you to stay top-of-mind.
